We are quickly approaching golf’s Launch Season – the time of the year when the manufacturer’s unleash their latest, greatest options. The newest iterations of their best from last year.

It’s always a little amusing – when you follow the marketing. Last year we gained 7 yards, 2 years ago it was up to 13. This year we’re gaining 3 yards. So I’ve gained 23 yards in 3 years? Well, actually I’ve gained negative 20! Getting older sucks!

But the marketing has to happen. The companies have to tout their new products – they’ve invested millions into the research, development, creation, production, shipping, etc. They need to back that up with outlandish marketing to get us hyped for the launch.

Here is a quick outline of what is coming in the next few weeks & months.

Woods: Taylor Made Stealth (2/4). Callaway Rogue ST (2/18). Cobra LTDx (2/11).

Irons: Taylor Made Stealth (4/1). Rogue ST (3 versions). Mizuno Pro 221, 223, 225. PING i525. Cobra LTDx Irons (Standard and One-Length).

Putters: Taylor Made – 4 new Spider models. Odyssey Eleven & Tri-Hot 5k models. Cobra 3D Printed and Vintage Series. PING PLD series. New Scotty Cameron models coming later in the year. New Bettinardi Innovai & BB Series.

Wedges: Titleist Vokey SM9. PING GLIDE 4 and Forged.

Balls: Taylor Made 2022 TP5, TP5x. Callaway 2022 Chrome Soft, SoftX, SoftX LS. Titleist AVX, Velocity, TruFeel. Bridgestone 2022 B-Series. Srixon Q-Star and DIVIDE.

I’ll let the marketing do the talking. But if you are looking to upgrade your game in any of these areas, then I urge you to go to your local store, get these in your hands and give them a try! The stores spend a lot of money on training and technology so they can help you get the products in your hands and try before you buy.
